where oh where?

lately i have been wondering what to do with my life... For the past 4 months i have been looking into colleges and contacting other photographers in other states, trying to find a job as a nanny, or any job at all. I have lived in Utah for almost 21 years now and i am ready to get out! I have ruled out art schools because lets face it.. those are just too expensive, but i had a lovely chat with the wise Nicole Hill. She told me just to find a photog i love in cali, work for them, attend a community college there, and get my degree. Mother thinks i should go to New York and do the same. Hmmm i love both CA and NY. I guess it all depends on housing, a job, school, money... you know just the little details. haha. So i am stuck. And in a rut. I am ready to get out on my own and live in another state.

One of my good friends got married a couple weeks ago. Tear. And i took a few pictures of the lovely couple at the temple, and at the reception. Let me just say this. Such a gorgeous reception. It was all vintage. Right up my alley! Everything was so creatively done, i was amazed.

I feel so bad i am almost two weeks behind on blogging. But i am catching up. This was a fun family to shoot, and we found some awesome spots to go to. They brought along their adorable little dog, and we had a blast! Thanks for referring me Tanner!

last night i got to babysit my adorable little niece Navi. Oh goodness, i am obsessed. And i realize i have not put up pictures of her since she was born! So i had to just hurry and put this beaut on. Please just admire her perfect features. I could kiss those chubby cheeks all day! And i do :)

Little miss GORGEOUS Arial is going to compete in hopes of coming the next miss Utah. I'd say she has no fear. She'll win for sure! I mean just look at these pictures, she has the perfect features for peagents. So this is a funny story, her mom found me via facebook and wanted me to do some portraits of her daughter, little did i know she is lil sis' dance teacher! Oh and also on this shoot we found out we live just two neighborhoods away. Oh how this world is so small. Well i can't post all of these pictures, because they are using some for the peagent. BUT i can post my favorites. HOORAY.

Seriously people, i can't control my tears. it runs in my family.

one of my best friends just got engaged. so happy. but so sad. i am going to miss having sleepovers with syb (and she will no longer be syb!! she'll be mrs. adamson. weird.) i will miss you not coming to do EFY in hawaii with me again this year. i will miss going on road trips with you to st george. i will miss you when you go move to DC this summer. but you will always be my syb and i have no doubt you will be such an amazing wifey! love you my dear! can't wait to see you and your gorgeous ring on friday!
